Phase 1: Access and General Configuration
Locate the Service: Go to the discounts service page
Enter Settings: Click the Cogwheel icon ⚙️ in the top right corner
- [ ] Set Cover Image: Choose the main banner image for the service
- [ ] Set Icon: Choose the icon that represents the service
- [ ] Set Category: Choose the category where this service will appear in the Discover section
- [ ] Control Visibility: Toggle whether the service is visible or hidden
- [ ] Pin to Home (Optional): Check this to feature the service on the Home screen
- [ ] Set Audience: Limit visibility to a certain group of users if needed
- [ ] Assign Management Roles:
- Service Administrator: Full control (configure workflows, manage visibility/permissions)
- Service Editor: Limited control (manage discounts, edit appearance)
Phase 2: Service Definition
Navigate to the "Service" tab
- [ ] Define Discount Submitters: Specify which users/groups are allowed to create offers (e.g., store managers, all tenants)
- [ ] Define Assignee Group: Select the team responsible for reviewing and approving submissions
- [ ] Add Description: Write the public-facing text explaining the purpose of the service (e.g., "Exclusive deals for community members")
Phase 3: Workflow Configuration
Navigate to the "Workflow" tab
- [ ] Set Approval Requirement: Decide if discounts need approval before going live
- [ ] Configure Approval Layers (If approval is required):
- [ ] Step Name: Name the approval stage (e.g., "Manager Review")
- [ ] Assign Approvers: Select the specific group for this step (must be part of the "Assignee Group" from Phase 2)
- [ ] Set Notifications: Choose additional users to notify as submissions move through the workflow
